The  Lent Experience: Come and learn how to experience a deeper relationship with God in the Lenten study held on Wednesdays in Lent @ 6:30 pm in Fellowship Hall starting February 24. This is not your typical, boring, traditional Lenten study using the Rightnow Media video series by Eric Ferris.

Looking Ahead:

A Prepatory Worship Service will be held on Wednesday, March 31 @ 7 pm in St. Paul's Sanctuary to prayerfully prepare for the events of Holy Week.

A Tenebrae Worship Service for Maundy Thursday will be held on Thursday, April 1 @ 7 pm. Tenebrae or Service of Darkness will include dramatic readings of Jesus' final days in Jerusalem with the gradual extinguishing of candles and the stripping of the altar to symbolize the events of Holy Week.

St. Paul's will hold a Good Friday Worship Service at 2 pm on Good Friday, April 2. All are invited.

Easter Sunday, April 4, will feature two worship services:

  • 8:30 am Early Morning Easter Worship in the Memorial Garden
  • 9:30 am Easter Worship Service in the Sanctuary.

Social distancing protocols will continue to be in place - please wear a mask when entering the church building.

Lent

On Ash Wednesday, February 17, we began our 40-day journey toward Easter with a day of fasting, and repentance with an Ash Wednesday Worship Service @ 7 pm. Marking our foreheads with dust, we acknowledge that we die and return to the earth. At the same time, the dust traces the life-giving cross indelibly marked on our foreheads at baptism. While we journey through Lent to return to God, we have already been reconciled to God through Christ. We humbly pray for God to make our hearts clean while we rejoice that "now is the day of salvation."
